I am not having any luck with the program. I have one internal hard drive and 4 external drives. The program is not seeing the drive with the bad boot sector. Are there any limitations to the number of drives on the Demo program?

Unfortunately, by my experience, Partition Table Doctor dosen't work with Vista Business X64,The software dosen't recognize active partition and correct them as damaged.The partition that I attempted to recovery wasn't recovered at all.I hope in a future update for vista x 64

This program actually works as advertised I tried my different programs that didn't help but this one did. I recovered all my data. Very intuitive GUI. Since the drive was a data disk I ran the program in windows. Did not try run via the boot disk option.

It worked fine I had a problem with the MBR, possibly because my main HDD was PATA and I had another, smaller, SATA drive being used as a backup. When trying to remove ubuntu the fixmbr command caused the MBR to became corrupt and nothing was shown on the C: at all. Downloaded the trial PTD software on another PC and created the boot CD. Booting from the CD on the broken PC and it found the partition and stated it was ok. Bought the retail version repeated the prevous process and with one click everything was back as it was, fully working. ...

Can`t do anything with demo version I wanted to try the demo version, but it didn't allow to use any functions.

Creating a Boot USB Key Fantastic software.I used it to create a USB key that boots BartPE from a partition at the end of the key. The key contains a normal data partition at the start of the key that is visible to windows.I needed to create the small boot partition (active and visible to windows) first at the start of the key to set it up to boot BartPE. I downloaded this to evaluate it for a friend(i have now deleted it). I was impressed with the amount of information which it provided, although I feel a little more work could be done with regard to the display options, as the screen was a bit cluttered. This minor quibble aside I recommended it wholeheartedly.

Not working for Windows XP. I wanted to fix my Vista boot from Windows XP...I didn\'t see interface, I rate it medium.It was very easy to see it not working, I rate it best.It doesn\'t work in OS older then Vista, and that would be a feature - weak features rating!Overall rating is my experience - minimal.

This was one of the best little utilities I have ever used. After struggling for 4 days to try and reorder a boot menu(Winxp and Win7 with Win 7 - the latter set as priority)and unable to do so - this programme sorted it out in moments. I could find no help on the net (other than modifying the boot.ini file, which did not work)so it was a godsend.Thank you
